Job summary

Alkegen is hiring for a forklift operator in New Hampshire. You will move materials using a forklift, perform setup tasks per instructions, and document production and quality data. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, adherence to safety rules, and the ability to work a 12-hour shift with overtime as needed.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and forklift experience. Prior manufacturing exposure is preferred; training will be provided for specific Alkegen processes and

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
• Forklift experience is mandatory.
• Minimum of 1+ years manufacturing desired but not required.
• Attention to detail.
• Good math and reading skills.
• Ability to follow directions and specifications.
• Ability to lift 50-lbs regularly.
• Ability to push or pull.
• Must be available to work 12-hour shift and OT as needed.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for moving materials around the facility using a fork truck, following safety factors and speed requirements.
• Product operation set-ups must be performed as instructed through sheets and work orders.
• Document all production and quality data as instructed.
• Organize and clean work area daily for efficiency and safety.
• Clean equipment as instructed, including change overs and maintenance schedules.
• Train new employees.
• Assist maintenance staff in repair and troubleshooting of equipment.
• PM as scheduled and documented as instructed.
• Observe all safety rules and report issues to supervision.
• Perform all other duties as directed by supervision.
