Job summary

Carrier is seeking a Warehouse Associate for an evening shift (2:30pm–11:00pm) in the United States. The role involves picking/packing, loading/unloading, locating materials and following strict shipping/receiving protocols.

You will record turnbacks, process rework orders, and perform cycle counts with a focus on safety and quality. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and at least a year of experience in continuous improvement and a high-volume manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ year of experience with continuous improvement methodologies.
• 1+ year of experience in a high volume, high complexity manufacturing environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety requirements and wear PPE.
• Support picking/packing, loading/unloading and general warehousing duties.
• Understand method of locating materials and read packing lists.
• Follow shipping/receiving protocols and record turnbacks.
• Process rework and purchase orders; execute 5S.
• Perform and reconcile cycle counts; contribute to root cause analysis.
• Propose process improvements; execute JDE transactions related to area.
