Job summary

Masimo is seeking a Warehouse Operator B to support receiving, warehousing and distribution for raw materials and finished goods. You will perform pre-shipment inspection, picking, packing, shipping, and cycle counting in a busy warehouse.

This role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, occasional forklift operation, and basic computer skills. HS diploma or GED is required; the position offers hourly pay with benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience with inventory control systems and cycle counting.

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Operator B is responsible for intermediate level handling of one or more of the following areas: receiving, warehousing and distribution functions for raw materials, in-process good, and quality auditing functions for released finished products and supplies.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Pre-shipment inspection for accuracy and conformance;
• Goods receipt, put-away, order picking, order packing, order shipping, and order posting;
• Cycle counting and general record keeping;
• Utilize automated shipping systems to process domestic orders for shipping;
• Reorder and maintain adequate level of shipping supplies;
• Replenishment of inventories and shipping stations;
• Organize and maintain good housekeeping in warehouse;
• Schedule shipment pick-ups;
• Routinely lifts and carries up to 50 pounds;
• May operate a Forklift as required;
• Perform other duties as assigned;

Minimum & Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Prior experience in warehouse shipping and receiving practices;
• General mathematical skills;
• Ability to read, understand, and follow Company quality policy;
• Experience with inventory control systems and cycle counting;
• Must be able to routinely lift and carry up to 50 pounds;
• Good communication and computer skills;
• Good housekeeping and record skills;

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior warehouse and manufacturing facility experience;
• Prior Forklift operations experience;
• Prior quality inspection experience;

Education:

High School diploma or GED is required.

Compensation

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $18 - $22 Per Hour plus benefits. Actual placement within the range is dependent on multiple factors, including but not limited to skills, education, and experience and internal equity.

Physical requirements/Work Environment

This position primarily works in a warehouse environment. Must be able to routinely lift and carry up to 50 pounds. May sometimes operate a Forklift as required. It requires frequent sitting, standing and walking. Daily use of a computer and other computing and digital devices is required. May stand for extended periods when working in the warehouse or walking in the facilities. Some local travel is necessary, so the ability to operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid Driver’s license is required.
