Job summary

Meyer Distributing is seeking a Warehouse Operator to join our Orlando, FL team. The role offers an hourly rate of $19.00 without overtime with a stable ~40 hour schedule on a 5-day work week.

2nd shift runs 11:00am-8:00pm with rotating Sundays, requiring ability to lift heavy items and operate forklift and manlift equipment. Responsibilities include unloading trucks, scanning parts, stocking, order filling, palletizing, inventory counts, and maintaining a safe, organized warehouse.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to engage in repetitious bending and lifting.
• Operate equipment - forklift and manlift (cherry picker).
• Must obtain forklift and manlift certification within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and distribute products to appropriate area of warehouse for restocking.
• Use scanners to place parts in proper bins and pulls orders.
• Stock parts on racks in proper location.
• Fill orders from warehouse stock and distribute items to shipping or to designated route driver/customer pick-up staging area.
• Place product on pallets and wrap it in film and banding equipment.
• Assist in counting and reconciliation of physical inventory.
• Keep warehouse and work area clean and organized at all times.
• Wear protective toed shoes and work in a safe manner at all times.
• Move products manually and with the assistance of a forklift and manlift.
• Load trucks and secure product.

Schedule (End Times May Vary)

• Stable schedule: 5-day work week ~40 hours
• 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday: 11:00am-8:00pm & Rotating Sundays: 8:30 am-5:00pm

Requirements For Warehouse Workers And Operators

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Ability to engage in repetitious bending and lifting
• Ability to operate equipment - forklift/manlift (cherry picker)
• Must obtain forklift and manlift certification within 3 months
• Must be able to work up to 25 feet above ground level
• Must not be afraid of heights
