Job summary

Envision Cold is opening a new cold storage facility in Boaz, AL and is hiring for 2nd Shift Warehouse Operators with a start date between Oct 12 and Nov 2. The shift runs 3:30 PM–12:00 AM, Monday through Friday, with Saturday support as needed and overtime possible.

As a Warehouse Operator, you will operate forklifts in a cold environment, load/unload, perform inspections, keep the facility clean, assist with inventory counts, and coordinate with teammates to ensure safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Minimum of 3 months forklift experience.
• Must maintain a valid forklift operator certification.
• Good attendance record and work ethic.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects (minimum of 40 lbs).
• Comfortable working in cold/freezing temperatures while wearing PPE and freezer gear.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.
• High degree of attention to prevent injury to others.

Responsibilities

Envision Cold is opening a new cold storage facility in Boaz, and we're hiring NOW! Our primary need is for 2nd Shift Warehouse Operators with our targeted start date between October 12th and November 2nd.

The facility will operate Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and Saturdays, 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

2nd Shift will be 3:30PM - 12:00AM Monday - Friday with support on Saturdays when needed. This role may also require overtime during the week depending on business needs.

As a Warehouse Operator with Envision Cold, you will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment in a cold storage environment to safely and efficiently move goods and materials. This role requires knowledge of forklift operation, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work in a cooler/freezer environment.

• Regularly required to stand, sit, reach, bend, twist, kneel and use hands to handle various products.
• Consistently lift, move, push, pull and carry upwards of 40 lbs. depending on product and business operations.
• Occasionally lift, move, push, pull and carry upwards of 100 lbs. with assistance depending on product and business operations.
• Work around, on or near a variety of equipment, including pallet jacks, forklifts, warehouse racking systems, electronic devices and refrigeration systems.
