OPPORTUNITY
The primary purpose of this position is to be responsible for all warehouse functions presented by the warehouse manager and as defined below. This position will uphold the Hydrite “Standards of Excellence” through continuous commitment to customer satisfaction, both internal and external.
Hours for this position are 6am-2:30pm
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate an industrial forklift following all Hydrite’s Safety Values
- Complete daily warehouse tasks
- Maintain a safe and orderly work area
- Set up and stage loads as directed by warehouse supervisor and dispatcher
- Load and unload Hydrite trucks, LTL, and inter-branch shuttles
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of paperwork
- Perform all computer transactions daily in the M3 system for proper visibility and accuracy
- Conduct daily forklift and warehouse safety inspections
- Perform daily product inspections to ensure adherence to Hydrite’s quality standards
- Wear personal protective equipment as per Hydrite policies
- Complete monthly training sessions as required
- Store products safely and orderly according to standard operating procedures
- Move materials effectively throughout the facility using an industrial forklift
- Perform cleaning tasks, including operating floor sweepers and scrubbers
- Prepare shipping and receiving documents according to SOPs, including waste documentation, storage, and handling
- Report any food safety issues to supervisor or SQF Practitioner
- Participate actively in Milwaukee’s Emergency Response Team
- Comply with all Hydrite safety and RCEP policies
REPORTING STRUCTURE
- This position reports to the Warehouse Supervisor
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL CRITERIA
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Knowledge of Hydrite’s safety, work, and regulatory rules
- Knowledge of D.O.T. regulations
- Class A CDL preferred, with acceptable Motor Vehicle Record and hazardous/tanker endorsements
- Good communication and interpersonal skills; ability to read, write, and speak English
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to sit, stand, and climb stairs for up to 10 hours per day
- Lift 100-pound bags up to 30 times daily
- Unload 40 drums per day using a barrel cart
- Perform manual dexterity tasks
- Occasional turning, twisting, stooping, bending, and reaching
- Wear hairnet and beard net if applicable, with a hard hat
- No exposed jewelry in GMP areas
- Work in un-cooled warehouse where temperatures may reach 100°F
- Prohibition of contact lenses due to safety concerns
- Ability to wear SCBA and additional PPE

- Participate in RCRA, safety, health, and process training; review updates with supervisor; be RCRA compliant
- Maintain regular attendance
- Perform duties outlined in SOPs and other assigned tasks
- Collaborate with team members to balance workload; provide backup support as needed
- Ensure effective communication across departments to support branch success
