Job description

The QTI Group has a great direct hire opportunity available! Our client, a high-quality pet food production facility, is looking to add a Warehouse Operator to their 1st shift. Qualified candidates will have previous shipping and receiving experience.

• Pay: $18.50 per hour with an increase after 90 days
• Hours: Monday-Friday 6:00am to 2:00pm

Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick customer orders form picking list utilizing RF scanners
• Stack pallets using best practices to maximizing space and stability
• Stage orders in advance of customer arrival for loading
• Load trucks according to shipping schedule
• Safely and proficiently operate all assigned material handling equipment (stand-up forklift, sit-down forklift, turret truck, reach truck, pallet jacks, etc.)

Qualifications:

• Must have previous shipping and receiving experience
• Must be able to consistently lift 50 lbs.
• Standing, stretching, reaching, and bending a
• Accurately and quickly perform basic math calculations (add, subtract, multiply and divide)
• Excellent depth perception and judgement of distance, combined
• Able to work in various temperatures including extreme heat, humidity, and cold
