Job summary

Best Bev in Waverly, NY is seeking a Warehouse Operator to ensure orderly production and distribution of products. The role requires operating forklifts and RF scanners, managing inventory, and preparing shipments with accuracy and efficiency.

You will work with ERP systems, maintain stock levels, and support safety and quality procedures while meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating a forklift.
• Previous inventory control experience (preferred)
• Ability to read and analyze information
• Proficiency with prioritizing and meeting multiple deadlines
• Knowledge of inventory control
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds
• Data entry skills for inventory tracking and shipping documentation

Responsibilities

• Ensures orderly production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies where needed, and producing, staging finished product final distribution
• Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move items, or signals machine operators to move materials onto and off trucks and loading docks
• Utilizes RF scanners and ERP systems to track inventory movement and update stock records.
• Contributes to the orderly operation of stock and/or materials storage area
• Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory and reporting shortages
• Receives credit-return material/supplies from production by verifying materials and supply codes, lot numbers, and quantities
• Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product
• Documents product shipment by recording units shipped
• Maintains equipment by completing pre-use inspections and making operator repairs
• Keeps inventory, loading areas and machinery clean
• Open containers, sort and catalog materials
• Follows safety rules and precautions
• Adheres to company policies and procedures

Requirement:
