Purpose and Scope:
A cross-functional position responsible for controlling inventories through all processes. Must perform essential duties as a team player in accordance with FMCNA core values.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate within SAP and Info Link systems using hand-held scanners and truck mounts, including responsibility for equipment.
- Perform tasks such as loading, unloading, storing, and preparing shipments (internal, sales orders, international, and domestic) with limited supervision.
- Verify the quantity and condition of inbound and outbound shipments, note shortages, endorse Bills of Lading, and note exceptions.
- Sort and re-stack pallets, assist with vendor lot numbers, freight, and damage issues.
- Deliver requisitioned materials, verify quantities, and check bin status and storage types.
- Perform quality checks to ensure orders are correct and complete.
- Maintain inventory accuracy at the bin level.
- Pull samples for Quality Systems, record on the quarantine control card, and verify quantities on the Lot Accountability Form.
- Process incoming/outgoing materials using ADC equipment, ensure paperwork is complete, and post Transfer Orders.
- Implement stock rotation (FIFO), create stock replenishment requests, and operate material handling equipment and forklifts.
Pre-Trip Inspection & Support Tasks:
- Assist in loading/unloading trucks, pull components for orders, and use proper safety equipment.
- Manage scrap materials, remove damaged goods, and handle Ethylene Oxide samples per SOP.
- Maintain equipment in good condition, operate safely, and ensure a clean work environment.
- Assist other warehouse associates, escalate issues, and support training of new staff.
Physical Demands & Working Conditions:
- Indoor/outdoor work involving bending, lifting (up to 100 lbs with assistance), and various physical activities.
Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma required; Associate's degree preferred.
- 2-4 years of related warehouse experience, with knowledge of warehouse operations.
Skills & Certifications:
- Team-oriented, organized, good communication skills.
- Forklift certification required.
