Job summary

Hubbard in New Berlin, WI is seeking a Warehouse Operator on 1st shift (7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday–Friday) to load bagged feed and other products from the warehouse to customer and company trailers, using a forklift, pallet jack, and dolly.

You will perform daily inventories, ensure safety and quality standards, follow GMPs, and collaborate with Operations colleagues to resolve production issues. Lifting up to 55 lbs and working in varied conditions are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Knowledge of products and codes, warehouse layout, forklift operation, pallet jack, and quality storage/packing procedures.
• Good customer service must be exhibited at all times.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs.
• Ability to work in hot, cold, noisy, dusty, wet conditions and wear protective gear as required.

Responsibilities

• Move bagged feed/products from warehouse storage to customer and company trailers, ensuring accurate bag counts and using forklift, pallet jack, and dolly.
• Safely operate all necessary equipment (forklift, etc.) to move products.
• Perform daily inventories accurately and thoroughly (counts, recounts, housekeeping).
• Complete assigned work orders/tasks in a timely manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Plant Leadership and maintain excellent attendance.

Job Summary

The Warehouse Operator role is responsible for loading sacked feed or products from warehouse storage to customer vehicles/trailers and company trailers as directed. This is a 1st shift role a working schedule of 10 hours per day, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Facility Expectation

• Follow the expectations of all Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality standards.
• Ensure product quality expectations are met.
• Follow all facility Good Manufacturing Practices as required.
• Responsible for ensuring area is kept clean and completion of all listed housekeeping duties per the master sanitation schedule.
• Work with other Operations colleagues to effectively communicate production issues.
• Required to work overtime as specified by management.

Work Duties

• Move bagged feed and other feed products from warehouse storage to customer vehicles/trailers and company trailers as directed. Assures accurate count of bags of feed or products in all loading tasks. Uses forklift, pallet jack, and dolly for movement of products as necessary.
• Safely and efficiently operate all necessary equipment at all times (i.e. fork truck, etc.) in a manner so not to harm yourself, your fellow employees, and the equipment.
• Perform daily inventories accurately and thoroughly. This includes counting activities, recounts, housekeeping, etc.
• Complete assigned work orders and tasks in a timely manner
• Perform other duties as assigned by Plant Leadership

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent
• Must have knowledge of products and codes, warehouse layout, forklift operation, pallet jack, and quality storage and packing procedures
• Good customer service must be exhibited at all times.

• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs
• Must be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling and twisting over surfaces
• Ability to wear protective clothing and equipment such as safety shoes, face masks, safety glasses, hearing protection, a hard hat, and gloves when required
• Ability to work in hot, cold, noisy, dusty, wet working conditions
• Ability to work with allergens that might be present in a manufacturing environment
• Self-motivated with a solid work ethic
• Good attitude and works well in team atmosphere
