Job description

Job Title: Warehouse Operator

Pay: $19.50 - $24.00 per hour, DOE

Shift & Working Hours: Day Shift; Mon - Fri, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm; Weekends/Overtime/Holidays as needed.

Join our warehousing team at Land O'Lakes, Inc., where you'll perform front-line processes to ensure the successful delivery of final products. Responsibilities include coordinating inbound/outbound deliveries, packing/loading using a forklift, assisting with cycle counts, and organizing warehouse areas. Operate daily on a forklift and other machinery as needed. Be part of a member-owned co-op that is Rooted In Tomorrow.

This role is part of our WinField United business, supplying agricultural inputs, expertise, and technology to our members and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow all safety procedures and promote safety practices.
• Arrive on time, meet deadlines, and adapt to changes quickly.
• Process work orders by selecting products, palletizing, shrink-wrapping, and staging for delivery.
• Multi-task and keep up with demands in a fast-paced environment.
• Follow standard operating procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Obtain and maintain forklift certification.

Required Experience and Skills:

• Must be 18 years or older.
• At least 1 year of work experience in any industry.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and follow instructions.
• Willingness to learn, problem-solve, and troubleshoot.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, respectful attitude.

Preferred Experience:

• 1+ year of warehousing experience.
• Forklift experience.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift/carry up to 60 pounds.
• Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and climbing.
• Perform duties while wearing PPE.
• Work in temperature zones that include cold and hot environments, possibly with dust and chemicals.
