Position: Warehouse Operator

Pay: $22.60 per hour

Shift: 2nd Shift (2 PM - 10:30 PM); includes weekends, overtime, and holidays as needed.

Join our warehousing team at Land O’Lakes, Inc., where you'll perform front-line processes to ensure the successful delivery of products. Gain skills in inbound/outbound logistics, packing/loading with a forklift, cycle counts, and warehouse organization. Operate forklifts and other machinery as needed. This role supports our Purina Animal Nutrition business, serving producers and animal owners across the U.S., innovating nutrition products to promote healthier, more productive animals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Follow all safety procedures and promote safety practices.
2. Arrive on time, meet deadlines, and adapt quickly to changes.
3. Process work orders by selecting, palletizing, shrink-wrapping, and staging products for delivery.
4. Multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
5. Follow standard operating procedures.
6. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
7. Obtain and maintain forklift certification.

Required Experience and Skills:

1. Must be at least 18 years old.
2. At least 1 year of work experience in any industry.
3. Basic computer and math skills.
4. Ability to read, write, understand, and follow instructions.
5. Willingness to learn, problem-solve, and troubleshoot.
6. Strong collaboration and communication skills, respectful attitude.

Preferred Experience:

1. Over 1 year of warehousing experience.
2. Forklift operation experience.

Physical Requirements:

1. Ability to lift/carry up to 60 pounds.
2. Frequent movement: walking, standing, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, climbing.
3. Work while wearing personal protective equipment.
4. Work in environments that may be hot, cold, dusty, or chemical-exposed.
