Job summary

Veolia in North America is seeking a Warehouse/Inventory Associate to support shipping, receiving, and material flow. Responsibilities include operating pallet jacks and forklifts, maintaining CMMS data in Maximo, and coordinating material sourcing with craft personnel.

You will ensure safe, compliant operations and accurate inventory records. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, experience with Maximo/CMMS, and forklift certification; familiarity with procurement and vendor

• Experience sourcing material for jobs of various disciplines preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and compliant work environment and wear PPE.
• Comply with environmental, health and safety policies.
• Load and unload material for deliveries and shipments.
• Construct packaging/boxes/containers for shipment.
• Move material within the facility using hand trucks, pallet trucks, forklifts, etc.
• Operate and perform routine maintenance/inspections on packaging equipment and lift trucks.
• Perform general housekeeping and keep a clean, organized work area.
• Review work orders in Maximo/VAMS CMMS and draft purchase orders as needed.
• Maintain accurate inventory accounting in Maximo/VAMS for audits.
• Work with craft personnel to identify material needs and source from vendors.
• Provide updates on material availability to plan work orders.

Job Description

Position Purpose:

Responsible for performing a variety of routine tasks in the shipping and receiving of parts and material. Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts to move parts around for proper storage. Manage the flow of the inventory and keep the CMMS (Maximo) system up to date. Supports craft personnel with identifying and sourcing parts.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

• Maintain a safe and compliant work environment. Works safely and wears appropriate PPE.
• Comply with all environmental, health and safety policies and procedures.
• Loads and unloads material for deliveries and shipments.

Qualifications

Education/Experience/Background:

• High School diploma or General Educational Development (GED) preferred.
• Experience with Maximo / CMMS system required.
• Experience sourcing material for jobs of various disciplines preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to safely operate material handling equipment.
• Ability to work well in team environment.

Required Certification/Licenses/Training:

• Forklift Certification
