Job description

We are a brewery specializing in the production of fruit tarts with an emphasis on flavor and balance in all our beers. Our brewing philosophy is scientifically focused with an emphasis on flavor design. A packaging operator joining our production team will be responsible for keg washing, keg filling, canning line pack out, moving pallets of packaging materials or finished goods, and assisting in cellar work as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• High school Diploma or Equivalent GED
• At least 21 years of age
• Able to lift 50 (potentially 100) pounds at a time
• Ability to perform in hot conditions with various chemicals
• Willingness to clean, clean and clean some more
• Mechanical aptitude
• Proficient Math skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Fork Lift certification and experience moving delicate goods
• Knowledge of GMPs and Food Safety Standards

Responsibilities/Duties

• Picking, prepping, wrapping, and staging pallets of finished goods for orders
• Moving packaging materials from the warehouse to the brewery
• Moving finished goods from the brewery to the warehouse
• Keeping the warehouse organizational plan in action
• Minor duties may include helping in the brewery or pack out areas as needed

Wages

• $17 – $20 / hr starting, based on qualifications
