Job summary

Rogers Corporation in Chandler, Arizona is seeking a warehouse associate to support receiving, unloading and shipping of materials. You will help maintain accurate inventory and ensure a safe, organized work area.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, less than 1 year of warehouse experience, the ability to lift and move items, and a willingness to obtain forklift certification. This is an on-site position working with a team to meet daily material handling goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or 1 equivalent work experience.
• <1 year warehouse experience preferred.
• Willing and able to lift and move heavy items.
• Willing to become a licensed forklift operator.

This role will coordinate activities in the warehouse, communicating issues as needed.

Essential Functions:

• Receiveand unloadincoming material manually or with equipment.
• Verifyorders and checkfor damaged material.
• Perform shipping/receiving related transactions within computer software system.
• Assist with labeling paperwork necessaryto ensure proper shipment of material.
• Assist with cycle countsto ensure inventory accuracy.
• Assist with nonconforming material process and hold tags.
• Maintain safe work environment, keeping area clean.
• Utilize powered industrial trucks (PIT) (i.e. forklifts, motorized hand trucks).
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of education.
• <1 yearprevious warehouse experience.
• Willing and ableto use tools, lift and movedevices.
• Willing and able to become a licensed forklift operator.
