Job summary

Darigold is seeking a Warehouse Operator for our Bozeman Plant. This entry level role covers multiple tasks across packaging, boxing, and palletizing with movement and lifting requirements.

Positions involve cleaning duties, operation of pallet jacks, and potential night or weekend shifts under a union contract. Prior pallet jack or forklift experience is preferred, and high school education is favored.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience with pallet jacks and/or forklifts.

• Cross training across several different jobs to offer flexibility and a greater understanding of the overall operation.
• All positions require some cleaning duties and therefore involve working with water and chemicals.
• Position may also require the use of motorized pallet jacks.
• Operates the Box Former as needed.
• Pulls packaging for production.
• All positions require the employee to be on their feet, with mobility to walk, bend and twist as needed.
• Some lifting is required, up to 70 pounds.
• Reporting of any food safety or quality issues.

Job description

Darigold is seeking a motivated Warehouse Operator to join the team at our Bozeman Plant. The Plant operates several different types of bottling equipment, as well as associated boxing, casing, and palletizing equipment. The duties described for this position cover several different positions because this is an entry level position and not specific for one position. This position is covered by a union contract, which requires the selected applicant to join the union and pay dues.

What You Will Bring

• Previous experience with pallet jacks and/or forklifts
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds occasionally
• Proven work history to work safe, efficient, and be dependable
• Previous production experience in a food manufacturing plantHigh School education or equivalent is preferred
• Most employees are currently working (4) 10 hour shifts, weekend and night work schedules are possible and very likely
• Ability to work night or day shift, weekends, holidays, and over time as needed
