Job Description: Warehouse Operator at World Kinect

Role Overview

As a Warehouse Operator, you will be responsible for receiving, organizing, warehousing, and preparing for delivery a variety of packaged and bulk lubricant and fuel products. This is a safety-critical role, requiring careful attention to the integrity of all handling and storage equipment, such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and totes. Communication and teamwork are essential to support departments including customer service, dispatch, supply/procurement, and delivery staff.

Compensation

PAY: $18 - $20

  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 am - 5 pm.
Responsibilities
  • Receive inbound stock deliveries, accurately documenting all materials received and not received in a timely manner.
  • Perform monthly physical inventory of lubricants and fuels; assist with reconciliation and control procedures to meet customer demand.
  • Maintain facility organization and cleanliness; report and assist with spill clean-up as needed.
  • Store items systematically based on inventory turnover and specific requirements.
  • Determine optimal storage methods and stock locations.
  • Load delivery trucks in an organized manner, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
  • Inspect inventory storage vessels for wear or damage and report concerns.
  • Drive company vehicles (non-CDL) for product pick-up or delivery, with proper approval and training.
  • Maintain safety compliance and proper work environment, including adhering to OSHA regulations.
  • Assist with facility and yard inspections, minor maintenance, and other duties as assigned.
  • Work both indoors and outdoors, often requiring physical effort, including lifting and maneuvering materials, sometimes in extreme temperatures or at heights with PPE.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; work experience in materials handling or warehousing is desirable.
  • Forklift certification preferred; lubricant experience is a plus.
