Job summary

Azelis Holding S.A. is seeking a Warehouse Operator for a full-time, hourly onsite role in Atlanta. You will work with the DC team to pull, stage, and verify product, ensure correct quantities and lots, and prepare shipments to meet customer requirements.

You will also handle loading, safety inspections, and general warehouse upkeep in a fast-paced environment. The candidate should have 3+ years of related experience, forklift certification, and be able to perform physically demanding tasks

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of work experience in duties similar to warehouse operations.
  • Forklift operation training/certification completed.
  • Physically able to perform labor-intensive activities daily.

Responsibilities

  • Pull, stage, and verify product per work orders.
  • Verify material against bill of lading for quantity and lot.
  • Prepare products for shipment to meet customer requirements.
  • Load and brace material into delivery vehicles per DOT standards.
  • Document pre- and post-trip inspections on delivery vehicles.
  • Assist warehouse duties and maintain building/equipment housekeeping.

Azelis Warehouse Operator FT Hourly Onsite

Azelis is North America’s leading specialty chemical distributor serving multiple markets including; CASE, Construction, Personal Care, Cosmetics, Household, Industrial and Institutional Cleaning, Lubricants, Agriculture and Pharma.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ensure that all work performed with or for our customers, suppliers and employees is done in a safe, professional, courteous, and timely manner.
  • Work with Distribution Center team to ensure all product is pulled, staged, and verified as indicated by the work order.
  • Verify that staged material is the same material, quantity, and lot number indicated on the bill of lading.
  • Prepare product for shipment according to listed customer requirements.
  • Load and brace material into delivery vehicle in accordance with established Department of Transportation standards.
  • Document and file pre- and post-trip inspections on delivery vehicle Deliver products to customers.
  • Assist in Warehouse duties as directed.
  • Assist in the overall housekeeping and maintenance of buildings and equipment.
  • Assist, as directed, in all emergency response operations, including spill clean-up and waste disposal.
  • Work with DC Manager for proper fleet upkeep and maintenance.
  • Report any known or suspected safety hazard.
  • All other duties as assigned by management.
  • Other Responsibilities include (but not limited to) Understand and adhere to/follow the department procedures and policies.

Qualifications
  • Education and Experience: 3 or more years work experience with job responsibilities similar to or related to the above listed duties and responsibilities.
  • Trained and certified in the operation of a forklift.
  • Be physically able to effectively perform labor intensive activities on a daily basis.
  • Be subject to random drug and alcohol tested as directed by Management.
  • Be able to effectively work in a team-based environment, where all team members hold themselves mutually accountable.

  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software, Time Management software, comprehension of GPS software, etc. The individual must also be able to manage frequent usage of email.

Must have the ability to repeatedly lift up to 60 lbs. various times during work shift
