Job summary

Trident Consulting Inc. seeks a Warehouse Operator in Anchorage, AK for a 12+ month contract. The role runs 7:00am–4:00pm, Monday to Friday, with overtime possible nights and weekends. You will handle shipments, receive materials, and maintain inventory using SAP.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and be comfortable working with forklifts and hazardous material processes under IATA/DOT guidelines. This is a W2 position with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Experience handling domestic and international shipments is preferred.
• Proficiency with SAP and inventory systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, pack, label, and process domestic and international shipments.
• Receive incoming materials, inspect deliveries for accuracy and condition, and ensure proper documentation.
• Load and unload freight using forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Maintain safe work environment by following policies and procedures.
• Support hazardous material and air freight shipping activities in compliance with IATA/DOT.
• Verify shipping documents, bills of lading, packing lists, and inventory records.
• Communicate effectively with teams, carriers, and logistics partners to resolve issues.

Role: Warehouse Operator

Location: Anchorage, AK - Contract

Duration: 12+ Months

Work Schedule: 7:00am to 4:00pm Monday - Friday (OT available nights/weekends)

Rate: $20/hr - $22/hr on W2 (Inclusive all)

Description:

• Prepare, pack, label, and process domestic and international shipments in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Receive incoming materials, inspect deliveries for accuracy and condition, and ensure proper documentation is completed.
• Load and unload freight using forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Safely move materials throughout the warehouse while adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
• Support hazardous material and air freight shipping activities in compliance with International Air Transportation (IATA) and DOT certifications.
• Verify shipping documentation, bills of lading, packing lists, and inventory records for accuracy.
• Maintain organized warehouse storage locations and ensure materials are properly identified and stored.
• Utilize SAP and other systems to process transactions, manage inventory, and track shipments.
• Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory control activities as needed.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams, carriers, and logistics partners to resolve shipping and receiving issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following company and regulatory standards.
