Job summary

McCollister's is seeking a 1st Shift Warehouse Team Leader to oversee the Glenville, NY operation. You will supervise freight handlers, manage loading/unloading, and ensure accurate paperwork and inventory control.

We expect at least 2 years of warehouse experience, forklift & barcode skills, and strong communication. The role demands organization, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in warehouse operations with loading, unloading, receiving and paperwork.
• Forklift and barcode scanning experience required.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; able to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train freight handlers to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Protect freight, equipment and facilities.
• Complete all required freight handling paperwork.
• Verify van equipment or special instructions are met.
• Strive to improve warehouse efficiency.
• Train warehouse personnel and ensure quality.
• Operate warehouse equipment including forklift.
• Utilize asset scanning system for inventory control.
• Keep track of inventory and ensure products are received in good condition.
• Prepare and process loading/unloading documents.
• Take on additional duties as assigned by management.
