Job summary

University of Montevallo is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee safe receipt, storage, retrieval, and dispatch of goods in the Central Receiving warehouse. You will manage inventory accuracy, train student workers, and ensure efficient distribution of supplies.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, forklift/scissor lift operation, and reliable attendance. A valid driver’s license and two years related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe receipt, storage, retrieval and dispatch of goods.
• Audit physical inventory and reconcile records to deter theft and ensure accuracy.
• Supervise, train and evaluate student assistants; prepare schedules and approve time sheets.
• Operate forklift and scissor lift to load/unload materials and finished goods.
• Maintain documentation of deliveries and shipments and ensure proper distribution of stock.
