Job summary

BD is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee warehouse activities, manage associates, and ensure efficient distribution processes. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to operate material handling equipment.

The selected candidate will ensure compliance with inventory control systems and manage staff performance reviews. Candidates should have supervisory experience and prefer a Bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or related experience.
• Minimum of three years of supervisory experience in fast-paced environment.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment (MHE).

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate activities of warehouse associates.
• Ensure timely and accurate shipments from the distribution center.
• Plan work schedules and assign duties to maintain staffing levels.
• Evaluate employee performance and prepare performance appraisals.

Skills

Knowledge of inventory and warehouse management systems

Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

Strong leadership skills

Excellent organizational and time-management skills

Ability to operate material handling equipment (MHE)

Education

Bachelor’s degree preferred

Associate’s degree in related field

High school diploma or GED
