Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Goodyear, AZ is seeking a Supervisor, Supply Chain Operations for 3rd shift. You will lead day-to-day warehouse operations and drive safety and efficiency.

The role requires 2+ years in warehouse, WMS experience (SAP, Manhattan, Blue Yonder), and strong leadership. You will coach teams, implement improvements, and ensure high quality service to customers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant work experience in a warehouse environment.
• 1+ years of experience working with WMS systems (SAP, Manhattan, Blue Yonder).
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and scanner equipment.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including overtime, weekends.
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field.
• 2 years of managerial or supervisory experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.
• Experience in AS9100 or ISO environment.
• Warehousing or 3PL experience.

3rd Shift, Monday - Friday, 10:30 PM - 07:30 AM

What you'll do on a typical day:

• Ensure efficient daily operations of the warehouse


• Prepare schedules


• Supervise the team and provide training and coaching to improve performance


• Monitor work quality to consistently deliver exceptional customer service


• Demonstrate an understanding of the company quality policy


• Correctly interpret and enforce company policies and safety procedures


• Adhere to the GXO 7S program


• Communicate well with leadership, team members and other departments


• Implement continuous improvement action plans


• Work in a safe manner that protects you and your team members


• Perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities as needed


• Always maintain a clean environment

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

• 2+ years of relevant work experience in a warehouse environment


• 1+ years of experience working with WMS systems (SAP, Manhattan, Blue Yonder, etc.)


• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and computerized scanner equipment


• Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends

It'd be great if you also have:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field


• 2 years of managerial or supervisory experience


• Bilingual English/Spanish


• Experience in an AS9100 or ISO environment


• Warehousing or Third-Party Logistics (3PL) experience

This job requires the ability to:

• Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights


• Stand, sit or walk for extended periods of time


• Reach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel


• Handle or manage tools or equipment


• Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
