Job summary

Pitney Bowes is hiring a Warehouse Operations Supervisor for our Arlington, TX presort facility. The role oversees production staff on 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 4:30 PM–12:30 AM) with a salary range of $59,000–$63,000 plus a 6% field bonus. Your leadership will ensure timely mail flow, quality control, and alignment with USPS regulations while driving cost-effective operations and client savings.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year supervisory experience in a production/mailing environment or related field.
• Strong knowledge of USPS requirements and regulations as applied to presort/maillroom operations.
• Proficient with MS Excel; familiarity with MS Access and MS Word; basic internet/email usage.

Responsibilities

• Organize mail flow on the production floor and assign workers to meet deadlines.
• Oversee production workers on the designated shift and handle hiring, training, and performance reviews.
• Ensure quality controls and adherence to total quality management processes.
• Assist in USPS and internal reporting, job costing, and USPS regulations compliance.
• Contribute ideas to improve equipment use, working conditions, and team motivation.

Your career with Pitney Bowes will help you be an integral part of the operation that will support not only your career development but our business’ continued growth.You Will:Under direction from the Operations Manager or Assistant Operations Manager, organizes the mail flow on the production floor by assigning workers and assessing volumes and type of mail based on current staffing levels to meet postal deadlines.Responsible for overseeing the production workers on designated shift. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training, appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and solving problems. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable lawsOversee quality function throughout the production area. Assure TQM (Total Quality Management) processes and procedures are followed at all timesAssist Operations Manager in completing required USPS and internal reports, job costing reports and application of all USPS postal regulations. Assure clear and concise communication of pertinent information between shiftsOffer suggestions regarding increasing efficiency of use of equipment, working conditions, and motivation of employees.Other duties as assignedYour Background:Ability to work Monday - Friday, 4:30 pm - 12:30 amMinimum of one year supervisory experience in any one of the following areas where familiarity of USPS requirements and/or regulations are applied (presort, mailroom, associated industries)Minimum of two years of progressively responsible experience in a production or mailing industry environmentStrong knowledge of MS Excel and/or MS Access along with basic knowledge of MS Word, internet and emailAbility to lift up to 50 lbs, or current maximum allowed by your State. Walk, stand, stoop, and bend 80% of the time with or without accommodationBased on operational needs must be willing and able to work as needed, including weekends, holidays, days off and/or a different shift with limited or no advance noticeOur Team:Pitney Bowes Presort Services performs mail sorting; performing some of the work that would typically be performed by the USPS. For completing this work, Presort Services receives discounted postage rates. By performing this sorting work on behalf of our clients, we are able to share a portion of that discount with them.
