Job summary

Thyssenkrupp Materials NA in Park City, Kansas, is seeking a warehouse supervisor to lead a team on the warehouse floor, ensuring productivity, quality and safety while meeting production and distribution deadlines.

You will recruit, hire and coach staff, conduct performance reviews, assign priorities, enforce safety procedures and company policies, and maintain clear communications with customers and suppliers to support smooth operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic computer skills.
• Leadership and teamwork experience beneficial.
• Prior warehouse experience with forklift, packing and measuring.

Responsibilities

• Meet production and distribution objectives within budget.
• Teach, coach and demonstrate work activities for team members.
• Conduct performance reviews and disciplinary functions.
• Coordinate, assign, and review work.
• Direct staff on priority of work to be accomplished.
• Ensure safety procedures and company policies are followed.
• Maintain timely, effective communications with customers and suppliers.
• Report accidents or incidents promptly.
• Monitor working conditions and take corrective action.
• Apply problem solving techniques (8D; 5 Why; Kaizen).
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Work on the warehouse floor around heavy machinery.
• Meet TKNA employee attributes/competencies.
