Job summary

GEO Secured Services is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee receiving, storage, ordering, packing, and shipping of materials for facility warehouse and supply operations.

You will maintain stock records, inventories, and purchasing schedules, lead staff (including detainee workers where applicable), ensure safety and housekeeping, and report on inventories. This role requires a high school diploma, several years of supervisory experience, and strong computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent certification is required.
• Minimum of four years of experience in a retail store as a supervisor and/or stockroom supervisor or in a related area.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and inventory control procedures.
• Ability to work with computers and department software.

Responsibilities

• The Warehouse Supervisor oversees receiving, storing, ordering, packing, shipping, and filling staff orders of materials.
• Maintains stock records and inventories and manages purchasing processes.
• Maintains an organized inventory system with accurate on-hand quantities.
• Directs work and provides training, including detainee warehouse staff where applicable.
• Ensures housekeeping standards and maintains warehouse security.
• Provides staff with an up-to-date list of stocked items.
• Leads and evaluates staff performance, including training and development.
• Identifies unusual or unsafe conditions and takes corrective action.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
