Job summary

GEO Corrections & Detentions is seeking a Warehouse Coordinator to oversee receiving, storing, ordering, packing, and shipping of materials for the facility. You will maintain stock records, schedules, and inventories while ensuring accuracy and security in the warehouse.

You may lead staff, including detainee workers, and will train and inspect performance. A high school diploma and 4+ years of supervisory stockroom experience are required, with strong OSHA and safety knowledge guiding daily

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent certification required.
• Minimum of four (4) years of experience in a retail store as a supervisor and/or stockroom supervisor or in a related area required.
• Familiarity with OSHA and other applicable safety standards and practices, inventory control required.
• Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.

Responsibilities

• Oversees receiving, storing, ordering, packing, shipping, and filling staff orders.
• Maintains stock records and inventories, ordering, and schedules.
• Directs work and provides training/inspections of detainee warehouse staff.
• Maintains warehouse housekeeping standards and area security.
• Provides staff with up-to-date list of stocked items.
