Job summary

American Wheatley in Oklahoma is seeking a Warehouse Specialist to perform receiving, staging, inspection, and prep for shipping in a structured, safety-focused environment. You will operate warehouse equipment, maintain accurate records, and support continuous improvement efforts.

The role emphasizes a hands-on, self-motivated team member who values organization, efficiency, and operational excellence while complying with PPE and 5S standards on a daily basis.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Comfortable operating forklifts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and warehouse tools.
• Familiarity with shipping/receiving documents and basic computer use (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Champion safety by leading with a safety-first mindset and speaking up to prevent risks.
• Process and package shipments via LTL and UPS Ground.
• Accurately stock and replenish inventory.
• Perform hydro testing and painting of products as needed.
• Inspect incoming/outgoing shipments for damage or defects.
• Verify and fulfill orders and customer-specific purchases.
• Complete tasks as directed based on production needs.
• Understand and follow department procedures and processes.
• Keep paperwork and documentation neat and accurate.
• Contribute ideas to streamline and optimize warehouse procedures.
• Adhere to PPE usage and 5S workplace organization.
