Job summary

Amcor in Cumberland, MD is seeking a production material handler to move materials, manage finished product flow, and transport ware through production areas. The role requires maintaining forklift certification and adhering to GMP and safety standards.

Responsibilities include packaging products for shipment, conducting daily forklift inspections, and collaborating with team members to meet plant goals. Eligible applicants will work full-time on-site with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must maintain forklift certification.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs regularly.
• Work in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Move all materials to and from the production department.
• Manage finished product flow from production, including the EBM pack-out and NETSTAGE areas.
• Transport held ware from bays to sorting areas and return sorted product to bays.
• Complete daily forklift inspections, including battery changes.
• Inspect and properly package product for shipment to customers.
• Communicate and collaborate with employees to support department goals.
• Promote a safe work environment by following all plant safety rules and reporting unsafe practices.
• Follow GMP policies, product safety requirements, and daily cleaning procedures.
