Job summary

Distributor Wire & Cable in Boise, Idaho is hiring a warehouse associate. You will pull, cut, stripe/dye or twist material, follow SOPs, scrap unusable material, and breakdown reels. You’ll document activities and keep the warehouse clean, while upholding a Zero Harm culture.

Requires 3+ years in order fulfillment or machine operation, strong communication, and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs. Forklift and power tool operation are part of daily tasks; strong initiative is valued.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in order fulfillment, machine operation or related experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively.
• Strong communication skills in a fast paced environment.
• Must exhibit urgency with a commitment to superior service levels.
• Reading and understanding documentation, wire descriptions and numbers.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Pull, cut, stripe/dye or twist material.
• Follow standard operating procedures.
• Scrap material and breakdown unuseable reels.
• Complete rundowns after orders and proper documentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse.
• Operate warehouse machinery including forklift, re-spooler, dye/stripe machine, pallet jacks, cutters, power tools.
