Position Summary

We are seeking a Warehouse Operations Specialist to support our Director of Order Fulfillment. This role is responsible for assisting with daily warehouse operations, including customer service, backlog management, quality control, employee scheduling and order expediting. This position requires strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail and the ability to work effectively across departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide customer service support related to order fulfillment, including updates and escalation resolution.
• Monitor open order reports and assist with backlog management.
• Perform quality control checks on received product and outgoing orders to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Assist with scheduling warehouse employees and balancing daily workloads.
• Expedite orders by monitoring in‑process documents and customer‑specific requirements.
• Support administrative reporting and cross‑train in inventory control functions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve fulfillment issues efficiently.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

• 3+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, supply chain or order fulfillment operations (manufacturing or distribution preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree or Associate Degree with equivalent experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Ability to train, coach and mentor warehouse associates.
• Experience with employee scheduling or team coordination preferred.
• Proficient in ERP/WMS systems – SAP Business One is a plus.
• Intermediate PC skills with knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment on concrete flooring and in varying temperatures.
• Lift up to 50 lbs in packaged shipments.
• Must work from our corporate headquarters in Lenexa, Kansas.
