Job summary

WebstaurantStore is seeking a Material Handler to unload, receive, stock, pick, consolidate, pack and ship inventory in our warehouse. You will use our ERP system and warehouse equipment, including forklifts, to ensure accurate, timely handling of goods.

The role emphasizes diligence, teamwork, and adherence to safety protocols in a fast-paced distribution environment. This on-site position offers opportunities to grow within a large foodservice supplier.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse/distribution operations is helpful.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Familiarity with ERP systems for inventory receiving and put-away.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order picking and packing.

Responsibilities

• Unload deliveries using forklift equipment and by hand where needed.
• Receive inventory in ERP, stock and organize in racking.
• Move palletized products with pallet jacks/forklifts.
• Scan and place items in racking locations with handheld devices.
• Retrieve items from racks and prepare for picking.
• Sort and consolidate items for customer orders and shipping.
• Pack products securely using internal systems.
• Operate warehouse equipment according to safety protocols.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and report hazards.
• Collaborate with team to meet daily/weekly/monthly goals.
• Adhere to all warehouse policies and cross-train as needed.
