MEI Industrial Solutions in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Warehouse Associate to prepare orders for storage, organize the warehouse, and record inventory. You will move, stock, scan, and secure items, using hand and powered tools as needed.

The role involves operating forklifts and other equipment, performing custodial duties, and ensuring safety. Overtime and weekend work may be required, and a valid driver's license is preferred with a clean driving record.

Formación

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; CDL helpful but not required.
• HS Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong English language skills including spelling for records/logs in English.
• Basic reading and mathematical calculations (multiplication, division, fractions, decimals).
• Ability to safely use hand, power, pneumatic tools and read a tape measure.
• Ability to problem-solve, work independently, and be self-motivated.
• Knowledge of equipment operation including manual transmissions or pneumatic/hydraulic tools.
• Pleasant, customer-oriented demeanor and ability to build positive work relationships.
• Overtime/weekend work is sometimes required of this position.

Responsabilidades

• Fuel diesel trucks arriving to the warehouse and log fuel dispensing.
• Move or reposition trucks as needed upon return to the warehouse.
• Wash/clean, shine, and detail tractors, trailers, forklifts, and company vehicles.
• Secure the facility and log incoming and outgoing movement of personnel.
• Assist in constructing crates and containers using pneumatic tools.
• Adhere to safety practices for self and others.
• Housekeeping and custodial duties in the warehouse (sweeping, trash, bathrooms).
• Move machinery and equipment with forklifts, pallet jacks or other powered equipment for safety and organization.
• Verify incoming equipment for storage; offload, inspect for damage, complete logs.
• Retrieve stored machinery for loading trailers or company vehicles; secure loads.
• Perform inventory and inventory control; maintain tool inventory in designated areas.
• Assist riggers and field personnel with equipment and tools as needed.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
