Job summary
UFP Technologies is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Manager to lead shipping, receiving, inventory and traffic in our Chicopee, MA facility. You will supervise staff, schedule shipments, and drive process improvements to support production and customer service.
Requirements include a high school diploma, 5 years shipping/receiving and warehousing experience, 1 year supervisory experience, forklift certification, and a working knowledge of ERP systems (Epicor preferred, SAP a plus).
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 5 years shipping/receiving and warehousing experience.
- 1 year supervisory/team lead experience preferred.
- Forklift certified and valid driver's license.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (Epicor preferred; SAP a plus).
- Strong communication and leadership in a high-volume operation.
Responsibilities
- Direct shipping/receiving and inventory control activities.
- Schedule shipments and manage carrier relationships.
- Oversee warehouse operations and 5S initiatives.
- Coach and develop warehouse staff and monitor performance.
- Ensure safety compliance and accurate ERP transactions.
