Job summary

Humano is hiring an Operations Site Manager to lead our 3rd shift unloading operation at a distribution center for a leading national off price retailer in Houston TX. You’ll own the shift, leading a team of associates unloading freight onto a conveyor line, hitting productivity and safety goals, and maintaining a strong client relationship.

You will supervise overnight hours on a 3rd shift, with a salary of $80,000 per year and a 4-6 day schedule per week depending on the week.

Qualifications

• 3 years of warehouse or distribution leadership experience including direct supervision of hourly teams.
• Experience with trailer unloading, conveyor operations, or high-volume inbound environments.
• Proven ability to drive productivity, attendance, and safety results.
• Strong communication skills and comfortable working directly with client leadership.
• Experience tracking labor productivity and performance metrics (Excel or similar).
• Able to work overnight shifts and a weekend schedule.

Responsibilities

• Lead schedule and develop associates unloading freight to the conveyor line.
• Own shift productivity, labor planning, and daily performance reporting.
• Enforce safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Serve as the main point of contact for client leadership on your shift.
• Partner with recruiting on staffing needs, interviews, and onboarding.
• Coach, train, and hold associates accountable for attendance and performance.
• Resolve issues on the floor quickly and professionally, including de-escalating conflicts.
