Job summary

NPW Contracting, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse/Delivery Lead to store and stage materials, manage inventory, and coordinate fleet operations in the Denver area.

The role involves planning warehouse layout for optimal use and supporting yard activities with routine maintenance and safety compliance. The ideal candidate has a valid CDL, clean MVR, and experience in inventory control, forklift operation, and basic fleet maintenance.

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with vehicle fleet maintenance.
  • CDL required or able to obtain.

Job description

Position Summary: Responsible for storing and staging materials and equipment in our warehouse. May performing building and grounds maintenance . You will serve as the primary contact concerning the operational usage, routine maintenance, and control of the company's vehicle fleet.

This position will require knowledge in planning and organizing the warehouse layout, for optimal use. You will bring with you, the necessary experience in planning and organization of the warehouse inventory and processes and assist with strategizing for optimal operational use of the warehouse and yard.

DUTIES
  • Perform monthly truck inspections
  • Pick up/Deliver materials
  • Pick up/Deliver parts
  • Record equipment maintenance
  • Deliver trucks for routine maintenance and inspection
  • Perform bi-annual equipment/tool inventory and update inventory in computer
  • Manage master inventory and storage
  • Receive and log all materials and store appropriately
  • Schedule forklift, truck maintenance, and refuels
  • Communicate with purchasing for anticipated ordering and forecasted inventory needed.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 pounds
  • Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds throughout the work day
  • Must be able to travel throughout Metro Denver, occasionally out of town and/or out of state
  • Must be able to sit, stand, kneel and bend for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to withstand repetitive motion
  • Must be able to withstand long hours

DRIVER RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Must maintain vehicle compliance, cleanliness and routine maintenance
  • Must complete all Pre-Trip Inspections of vehicle and any trailer being towed
  • Must complete Daily Vehicle Inspection Report
  • Must be familiar and comply with FMCSA and DOT laws and regulations
  • Per FMCSR, all commercial drivers must be able to read and fluently speak English
Experience and Education:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of 4-cycle and 2-cycle engine theory
  • Knowledge of 4-cycle and 2-cycle engine repair
