Job summary

About the Role

The Warehouse Manager role is a full-time, on-site position located in the Charlotte Metro area. This role is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products in a safe and efficient manner. The Warehouse Manager will manage inventory accuracy, supervise stock control procedures, coordinate forklift and material handling activities, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. This position includes leading and developing warehouse team members, optimizing workflows, monitoring performance metrics, and collaborating with logistics, procurement, and operations teams to meet service and cost targets. This role will also support the Sr. Warehouse Manager in various operational, administrative, and leadership tasks. Shift flexibility may be required, including weekends or overtime.

What the Candidate Will Do
  • Team Leadership & Development: Build, train, and motivate a high-performing warehouse team. Provide continuous coaching and clear communication to ensure staff are aligned with operational goals and performance standards.
  • Inventory & Stock Oversight: Direct daily stock and inventory control processes. Coach the team on best practices for maintaining meticulously accurate records and proactively identifying and resolving inventory discrepancies.
  • Operations Management & Process Improvement: Plan, organize, and oversee daily warehouse workflows. Empower the team to identify bottlenecks and implement continuous improvements to maximize efficiency and productivity.
  • Safety & Equipment Coaching: Champion a safety-first culture. Ensure all staff are properly trained and coached on the safe operation of forklifts and material handling equipment, strictly enforcing all safety regulations and stepping in hands‑on when necessary.
  • System Management & Reporting: Manage the facility's Warehouse Management System (WMS). Train staff on proper digital tool usage and leverage basic data analysis to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate operational reports.
  • Facility Management: Direct on‑site operations at our Charlotte Metro facility. Guide the team in prioritizing daily tasks while maintaining a clean, highly organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Industry Best Practices: Leverage prior supervisory experience in logistics, distribution, or manufacturing to guide the team through operational challenges and implement industry best practices.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2-4 years of warehouse and customer service experience.
  • 2 years of management experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Stock Control and Inventory Control, with the ability to maintain accurate records and minimize discrepancies.
  • Proficiency in Inventory Management and Operations Management, including planning, organizing, and improving warehouse processes.
  • Hands‑on skills in Forklift Operation and safe use of material handling equipment, with adherence to all safety regulations.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills, with the ability to train, coach, and motivate warehouse staff.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), basic data analysis, and use of digital tools for reporting and tracking.
  • Experience with Made4Net is a plus.
  • Ability to work on‑site in the Charlotte Metro area, prioritize tasks, and maintain a safe, organized, and clean warehouse environment.
  • Previous experience in logistics, distribution, or manufacturing environments; supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
  • Cross border knowledge especially to Caribbean and Puerto Rico is a plus.
  • Experience with the Google and Microsoft office suite of tools.
  • Knowledge of multiple modes of transportation (Ocean, Air, Road, Rail etc.), Full Truckload, Less‑than‑Truckload (LTL) industry, hazardous materials regulations and DOT rules and regulations, import/export and customs regulations.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills coupled with the ability to work effectively as part of a team on multiple projects.
  • Familiarity with Lean 5s best practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Advanced English & Spanish communication skills.
