The McPherson Companies, Inc. in Reserve, LA is seeking a Warehouse Associate to perform core warehouse functions, including preparing shipments and loading/unloading trucks. You will operate forklifts and handheld devices, follow safety protocols, and help ensure timely deliveries.

Ideal candidates hold a HS diploma, warehouse experience, forklift certification, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Teamwork and attention to detail are essential for success in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous warehouse experience in filling/packaging/picking.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in heat/cold and wet/dry conditions.
• Experience operating forklifts and obtaining forklift certification.
• Knowledge of cargo securing in commercial vehicles.
• Familiarity with WMS and handheld devices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare shipments and unload/load trucks.
• Work with management to ensure uninterrupted supply for customers.
• Pull and stage orders for next-day delivery.
• Follow loading/unloading procedures and DOT guidelines (if eligible to drive).
• Complete required paperwork promptly.
• Maintain a clean and safe facility.
• Communicate with Operations Personnel and Dispatchers as needed.
• Unload rail cars when required.
• Ensure proper facility shutdown at end of shift.
