Job summary

FastTek Global is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in Davison, MI to oversee warehouse staff and ensure safety, quality and productivity targets are met. The role focuses on assigning daily workloads, coaching employees, and driving process improvements across the operation.

You will monitor payroll data, enforce shop rules, and lead daily meetings to communicate performance. Training and development opportunities are provided within a 24-year-strong, client-focused company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with some technical or business training.
• Experience in manufacturing/warehouse environments preferred.
• Knowledge of safety, quality and productivity processes would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Counsel and support hourly employees with needs/concerns as required.
• Address performance behaviors and reinforce positives.
• Apply Workplace Organization (WPO) to improve layouts and efficiency.
• Perform daily Timekeeping System (TKS) updates for payroll accuracy.
• Document problem solving using A-3 format and follow guidelines.
• Conduct daily meetings to discuss performance and gather input.
• Run weekly safety observation tours and document findings.
• Plan daily workloads ahead and coordinate with shifts.
• Support colleagues to optimize shift performance.
• Observe contractual requirements and enforce shop rules.
• Perform daily SOP audit checks and track improvements.
• Develop skills via Individual Development Plan (IDP).
• Keep the General Supervisor Shop Committee informed of activities.
