Job summary

Shearer’s Foods is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead a team in our Massillon, OH facility. You will coordinate receiving, storage, testing, inventory and shipping activities in a continuous improvement environment, while upholding a safe workplace.

You will supervise staff, implement efficient warehouse processes, and use data-driven metrics to improve performance. A 4-year degree or equivalent experience is preferred, with 2+ years in warehouse supervision in food processing.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Business preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in a warehouse management or supervision role, preferably in the food processing industry.

Responsibilities

• Supervise employees in all Manufacturing Warehouse Areas.
• Enforce safety and sanitation rules to maintain a safe workplace.
• Ensure and monitor receiving, storage, and distribution efficiency.
• Use metrics to evaluate and improve receiving, storage, and distribution methods.
• Plan work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet performance standards.
• Direct and coordinate activities within or between departments.
