Job summary

Qualifications

• 7–10 years in retail operations, distribution, transportation, logistics and/or related fields.
• Experience overseeing multiple distribution center functions and teams.
• Strong financial and operational analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate performance of all distribution center functions, address performance gaps, and take corrective action to ensure goals are met.
• Assess business conditions and address near-term opportunities to improve service, reduce costs or generate incremental revenue.
• Assist with annual operating budgets and capex proposals for warehouses and support functions.
• Assist with approving capital expenditure proposals and submit justification for budgeting.
• Direct adoption of improved processes, new equipment and facilities to achieve incremental results.
• Create high customer service expectations and monitor results to ensure performance meets expectations.
• Maintain a safe work environment and ensure security of personnel and facilities; oversee safety and health compliance.
