Tire Rack is seeking a Warehouse Department Supervisor in Sparks, NV to lead our Distribution Center team. You will oversee daily warehouse operations, supervise and develop associates, coordinate workflows, and drive continuous improvements to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.

This role requires leadership in a fast-paced environment, a focus on safety and efficiency, and collaboration across departments to optimize performance.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 3 years of warehouse experience with demonstrated leadership responsibilities.
• Experience supervising, coaching, and developing warehouse associates.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and distribution processes.
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to manage inventory, shipments, returns, and workflows.

• Lead daily operations within an assigned warehouse department, ensuring safety, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Supervise, coach, train, and develop warehouse associates while fostering a positive work environment.
• Assign work, establish priorities, and adjust staffing to meet daily production goals.
• Monitor workflow and communicate department progress and updates to management.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety standards, and SOPs.
• Analyze performance and identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency.
• Oversee quality control processes to meet company standards.
• Manage inventory accuracy in the WMS, including tracking, returns, and stock reconciliation.
• Identify operational issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve communications and streamline operations.
• Lead department meetings to communicate goals and updates.
• Ensure material handling equipment is maintained and operated safely.
• Support onboarding and development of new team members.
• Provide recommendations on temporary-to-full-time transitions.
• Report department performance metrics and trends.
