Job summary

Curran Recruiting is assisting a well‑established manufacturing and distribution company in Glendale, AZ in hiring an Operations Supervisor who will lead day‑to‑day shipping, receiving and warehouse operations, coach a growing team, and drive safe, accurate distribution in a fast‑paced setting.

You will optimize labor, schedules and workflow, oversee inventory accuracy with audits and cycle counts, and partner with leadership on hiring and performance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in a distribution environment.
• 1-2 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control, and shipping/receiving operations.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize in a fast‑paced, high-volume environment.
• Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) and HAZMAT certification (or willingness to become certified) are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop warehouse associates while fostering a positive team environment.
• Oversee daily shipping and receiving operations to ensure customer commitments are met.
• Coordinate labor, schedules, and workflow to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Monitor inventory accuracy through audits, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies while maintaining accurate warehouse transactions.
• Partner with leadership on hiring, employee development, performance management, and team engagement.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA, 5S, and company safety standards while supporting a safe work environment.
