Job summary

UPS Supply Chain Solutions, Inc. in Asheville seeks a Seasonal Warehouse Supervisor to oversee safety, production and attendance while driving accuracy and excellent customer service.

A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred and management experience is a plus; ability to lift 70 lbs and work flexible shifts is required.

Qualifications

• Management experience preferred.

• Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains good working relationships with employees, management, and customers.
• Facilitates training with new and current employees.
• Ensures safety policies and procedures are followed at all times, complying with department, station, corporate and local government requirements.
• Manages department resources to maximize output, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Establishes and promotes a positive, team-oriented environment with proactive communication and continual improvement.
• Implements employee development plans to ensure growth of department personnel.
• Ensures orientation, skills and safety training, materials, and evaluations for all department employees.
