Job summary

Sensient Technologies Corporation, a leading global color and flavor producer, seeks a Warehouse Supervisor to support the Agricultural Ingredients unit in Turlock, CA. You will lead daily warehouse operations, optimize staffing and equipment, ensure safety and quality, and drive Lean improvements while coordinating with production, safety and quality teams.

The role offers a salary in the $80k–$100k range with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience to motivate, coach and develop warehouse teams.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations: inventory control, shipping/receiving, material handling, forklift safety.
• Experience driving operational excellence through process improvement and Lean initiatives.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills across production, quality, safety, and operations teams.
• Proficiency with WMS, inventory systems, and Microsoft Office; ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily warehouse operations by assigning workloads, optimizing staffing and equipment utilization, and managing labor costs.
• Foster a safe and compliant work environment by enforcing safety policies and safe forklift operation.
• Partner with Production, Plant, Safety and Quality leadership to improve efficiency and ensure specifications are met.
• Drive continuous improvement by analyzing performance, identifying process enhancements, and encouraging Lean initiatives.
• Oversee inventory accuracy, receiving transactions, and warehouse organization for efficient material flow and storage.
• Provide day-to-day leadership by communicating expectations and developing team members.
