Job summary

Bridgestone HosePower, LLC is seeking a self-motivated Warehouse Manager to join our_operations team at the Whittier branch. You will oversee shipping/receiving, warehousing, and distribution, and ensure safe, efficient use of equipment.

The role requires 3-5 years in warehouse management, strong MS Office skills, and proven leadership. You will schedule orders, maintain inventory, and support front counter activities, with a focus on deadlines and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in a warehouse management role, preferably in the Industrial/Hydraulic Hose industry.
• Intermediate to Advanced MS Office, with a willingness to learn new software programs
• Ability to multi-task, and prioritise multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience in an industrial or manufacturing distribution setting
• Experience successfully leading or managing a team

Responsibilities

• Direct oversight of shipping/receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations
• Implementing operational policies and procedures
• Ensuring effective and safe use of warehouse equipment
• Ensuring the safety of staff
• Management of stock counts and inventory levels
• Scheduling of all incoming and outgoing orders to ensure customer deadlines and satisfaction
• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment, free of hazards and debris
• Oversight of Front Counter and associated sales, inventory and stock levels
