Job summary

NFI is seeking a Warehouse Operations Lead to oversee daily warehouse activities, coordinate with shift leaders, and guide staff in receiving, put-away, picking, and loading processes.

You will supervise tasks, ensure safety standards, and drive productivity targets while maintaining inventory accuracy and proper storage conditions. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Experience with Warehouse Management System.
• Computer applications using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situations.
• Good visual acuity to inspect shipments.
• Ability to input data on the computer to create a daily inventory report.
• Accuracy in recordkeeping and in sorting, checking, counting, and verifying items received.
• Strong time management, organizational, planning and self-motivation skills.
• MHE experience or desire to learn MHE.

Responsibilities

• Communicate problems, concerns, and ideas to management; assists in finding solutions to problem areas.
• Ensures efficient and safe operation of all material handling equipment.
• Trains new and current employees on operational SOPs and WIs.
• Ensures the warehouse is clean and orderly; including organizing and rotating inventory, maintaining product labels, sweeping warehouse, and assist in staging orders for delivery.
• Ensure product is stored safely and in the proper place.
• Assists in maintaining the security of the warehouse.
• Additional duties as assigned by the warehouse supervisor or manager.

Under the direction of the Operations Supervisor, this position is responsible for directing work assignments in a manner consistent with company service and cost objectives.
