Job summary

The GEO Group, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee receiving, storage, ordering, packing and shipping of materials for facility warehouse operations. The role ensures accurate stock records, inventory control, and adherence to safety standards.

You will supervise staff, maintain organized purchasing systems, and support detainee warehouse operations while promoting safety and efficiency across the facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of four years of experience in a retail store as a supervisor or stockroom supervisor or related area.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and inventory control practices.

Responsibilities

• Receives, stores and issues supplies.
• Orders supplies and equipment based on requirements and organized purchasing.
• Maintains stock records and inventory levels.
• Ensures housekeeping standards in the warehouse.
• Maintains order and security of the area at all times.
• Provides up-to-date stocked item lists to staff.
• May lead and direct work of other employees, including evaluations.
