Job summary

York Wallcoverings in Columbus, OH is seeking a warehouse associate to support receiving, storage, picking, packing and shipping. You will help maintain a safe, organized environment and ensure accurate movement of inventory.

This role operates Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM on-site at our Columbus facility. You will use pick lists, assist with receiving, coordinate with Customer Service, and help train new associates to uphold quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to wear PPE and operate required equipment.
• Ability to lead a team and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders accurately using pick lists or fulfillment tools.
• Adhere to inspection process to ensure quality shipments.
• Load/unload orders onto trucks or other transport vehicles.
• Record parcel deliveries and deliver to appropriate person/department.
• Assist with receiving responsibilities as needed.
• Troubleshoot issues with sales orders during shipments.
• Communicate with Customer Service about order issues.
• Complete F8 reports twice daily for billing and hot-order tracking.
• Assist in building and wrapping skids for courier shipments.
• Direct workflow in fulfillment and perform area audits.
• Provide clear communication of area needs to supervisor/manager.
• Train new associates.
• Act as back-up for Warehouse Supervisor when required.
