Job summary

American Tire Distributors is seeking a Warehouse II to move products within the warehouse and serve as back-up delivery driver for non-CDL trucks. Role includes picking orders, lifting up to 150 pounds, and operating basic warehouse equipment. Position is on-site with a focus on efficiency and safety.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; 1–2 years of related warehousing experience preferred.
• Able to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist in administrative tasks, such as handling and preparation of paperwork. May assist in the daily closing of the warehouse.
• Verify all incoming and outgoing products for accuracy and assist in inventory counts.
• Compile and submit reports of damaged/outdated stock, over/under shipments, returns, and segregate defective product; prioritize and pick material to fill orders.
• Organize warehouse stock by product line and space to allow overflow.
• Load and unload delivery trucks; handle tires and equipment up to 50 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial vehicles (forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers) safely and maintain certification if required.
• Perform facilities maintenance and housekeeping tasks and daily closing.
• Prioritize and pick materials for order fulfillment.
